The Student Ministry at First Baptist Church of Willow Park seeks to walk alongside parents and students in grades 7-12 to grow in their relationship with the Lord, learn to be a disciple from other disciples, and make other disciples in Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20). This goal is accomplished in different ways.
Youth Wednesday night in the Upper Room
Students meet at 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday to better understand what it means to be like Christ in a world that is not. This is accomplished through worship, studying God’s Word, and fun games.
We are working through a chronological timeline of the Bible using “The Gospel Project Chronological.” Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m.
“Now Groups” Sundays at 5 p.m.
Part of living as disciples is living in an accountable community, and our small group ministry does just that. Students will be challenged weekly to live out different spiritual disciplines such as discipleship, daily scripture reading, worship, scripture memorization, and accountability in the grace-filled community of believing peers and leaders.
